TAYLOR. William E. Taylor, III, 64, of Suffield, beloved husband of the late Kathy Utley Taylor passed away at home surrounded by his loving family Sunday, November 5, 2017. Born January 20, 1953 in Suffield, son of the late William E. Taylor, Jr, and Anne (Duda) Taylor. He lived in Suffield all his life, he graduated from Suffield High School in 1971, a couple of years later he joined the Suffield Police Department where he served for 35 years before retiring in 2009. William was a member of the Suffield Sportsman Club and Oak Ridge Country Club. He got great enjoyment from both fishing and golfing over the years. He is survived by his two children, Jason Taylor and his wife, Rebecca of Suffield, and Ashley Taylor of Suffield. His family will receive friends Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Suffield Emergency Aid, 450 South St., Suffield, CT 06078.
