Richard was born on February 14, 1969 and passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018.

Richard was a resident of Springfield, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

He was born and educated in Springfield, on February 14, 1969, the son of Thomas Cocchi and the late Elizabeth (Smola) Cocchi and was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1987.

Family and friends will gather and remember Richard on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11:45 AM from the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118 followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. Patrick's Church, 1900 Allen St., with Rites of Committal to conclude at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Rd., all in Springfield. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 5th from 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
