Phyllis Ann (Bray) Linderme, age 90, of Southampton, passed away in the presence of her family on Monday, January 2, 2017. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Leonard and Gladys (Rood) Bray and was a 1943 graduate of Holyoke High School. Phyllis was a retail clerk at the former Normand's Pharmacy and also at Steiger's Department Store. A lifelong resident of Holyoke, she worshipped at First Baptist Church, where she was a member of its Women's Guild. She was also a former member of the Boy Scouts Mother's Auxiliary. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Bradford R. Linderme in 2002. She is survived by three children, Sharyn A. Kazunas and her husband Edward of Easthampton, Reid B. Linderme of Holyoke, and Kathryn Cote of Chicopee, nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two sisters, Lois Gray and Cheryl Bray, both of Holyoke, and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by a brother, Donald Bray, two grandchildren, Tracy Lynn and Edward Joseph Jr., and a daughter-in-law, Donna (Grenier) Linderme. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow at Forestdale Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
