Marjorie A. (Gosselin) Klimoski, 95, formerly of Holyoke and South Hadley, died Monday, February 6 at the Loomis Nursing Center in Holyoke. Marge was born in Dover, NH on April 12, 1921 to the late Katherine (Brennan) and Henry L. Gosselin. She moved to Holyoke in 1938 and graduated from HHS in 1941. She then attended hair styling school and worked several years as a hairdresser. She was last a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in South Hadley. Marge was an avid square dancer for many years along with her late husband Frank Klimoski, who predeceased her in 1986. In later years she enjoyed line dancing with many of her friends. Marge was involved with the Home Information Center in early years and volunteered as a board member. She will be fondly remembered for her generous and loving ways towards both family and friends. She leaves her daughters Kathleen Klimoski of Agawam and Margie Riley and her husband Michael of South Hadley; her granddaughter Amy (Siniawski) Johnson and her husband Matthew of Springfield; several nieces and nephews; Bruno and all of her great grand dogs. She was predeceased not only by her husband Frank but by her brother Russell Gosselin and sisters Mildred and Evelyn Gosselin. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Loomis House staff for allowing Marge the pride and dignity of living her last years independently and transitioning from this world to the next. The funeral will be held Friday at 10:00am in St. Patrick's Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Loomis Communities, 246 North Main Street, South Hadley MA 01075 and designated to either the Loomis House Nursing Center the Loomis House Staff Appreciation Fund.
