Joseph was born on August 21, 1920 and passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017.

Joseph was a resident of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

He graduated from the University of Detroit and earned a master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Michigan.

e served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Europe. An ordinary man in extraordinary circumstances; he served with courage and was awarded the Bronze Star.

Joseph was married to Thelma (Warner) McDyer.

Michaelmas Room at the church before Joe's Liturgy of Christian Burial on Friday February 17th at 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Parish, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joe's memory to St. Michael's Parish, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow, MA 01028.
