James J. Reynolds, 89, a lifelong resident of Enfield, husband of the late Wanda (Duda) Reynolds passed away Tuesday November 7, 2017. Born in Thompsonville, the son of the late Charles L. Sr. and Mae (Tierney) Reynolds he graduated from Enfield High School. He enlisted in the US Navy and served during World War II. James was employed at Bigelow Sanford and Stanadyne where he retired in 1989 after 26 years of service. He was a member of the John MacIolek Post 154 American Legion and a communicant of St. Adalbert Church. He is survived by his two sons, Timothy Reynolds and his partner Susan Thorner of Suffield and David Reynolds and his wife Lynn of Torrington, his five grandchildren, Heather Howell, Sean Reynolds and his wife Lisa, Julie Lynn Silva and her husband Peter, Christopher Reynolds, and Erin Reynolds and four great grandchildren. Besides his wife of 64 years, Wanda, he was predeceased a brother Charles L. Reynolds Jr. His family will receive friends Friday, November 10, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East Street, Suffield. Family and friends may gather Saturday, November 11, 2014, 9 am at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM at St. Adalbert's Church, 90 Alden Avenue, Enfield.
