Herman was born on August 4, 1949 and passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

Herman was a resident of West Springfield, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

Herman moved to Springfield and attended Springfield Schools, graduating from Commerce High School in 1969 where he excelled in track and field, football, basketball and wrestling.

Calling hours will be Monday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial with Military Honors at the Agawam Veteran's Cemetery.
