Giovanna was born on August 24, 1921 and passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Giovanna was a resident of Longmeadow, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

o. She was educated in Italy and came to the United States in 1955.

Giovanna was married to Umberto Sarno.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, January 8th, from 3-7PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. Giovanna's funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9th from the funeral home at 8:45AM followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10AM. Interment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Mausoleum. Service
