HOLYOKE: George T. Griffin, 75, passed away peacefully at Highview of Northampton in Leeds on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Edward and Mary (Falvey) Griffin and attended the former Sacred Heart Schools. A talented musician, George was a self-employed guitarist until his retirement. He is survived by two sisters, Marilyn Loudon and Eileen Stortz and her husband Gary as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Annmarie Griffin Brewer and four brothers, Edward, Arthur, Gerald and John. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the wonderful nurses and staff at Highview for the wonderful care George was given. There are no calling hours. All services will be private. Donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
