My sincere sympathy to the family of Larry Bay. He was such a wonderful, caring dedicated person to his work and family. Always thinking of making a difference in the life of others through his work as an educator and director. I got to know him through work many years ago and he has always been there on top of what was the best. He was a hard worker. He will truly be missed, may he rest in peace.

I am so so sad to hear of Larrys passing. I really looked up to him and admired him for all the help and compassion he had for all his students. I'm so sorry for your loss. He really helped me to get my G. E. D. I'll never forget him. Wish I made a trip to Ma. Earlier to pay a visit to Holyoke Works and see all friends I had there.

Even behind closed doors he displayed a deep commitment to his clients. Conversations with him were always fun and interesting, reflecting his honesty, wide-ranging knowledge and intelligence. Angela and Karina,
I can not put into words all of the emotions I am currently feeling. Larry is (always will be) a very special person and no one can or will ever take his place. Whomever tries has some mighty big shoes to fill He had a giant heart and always put others first. He will always have a special place in my heart.
My prayers for you and your extended family. May God bless you all.

Bay Family
When I first started at the Skills Center in 1978, Larry was one of the first people I met. We hit it off right away. He always had the students' best interest in mind and was a dedicated teacher and later years a dedicated administrator. When I think of Larry I'll be reminded of that, his passion for the Detriot Tigers and all the laughs we had. RIP Larry.

If the after-life is a reflection of the memories we share of our friends and loved ones, Larry's after-life will be full of doing for others and trying to make the world a better place. And it will be full of good food, humor and fishing. We will miss him.

What a shocking loss, all of us who worked with Larry in Holyoke are deeply saddened by his passing.

I can't count how many committees and projects we worked on together over the 25 years we knew one another: in all of them Larry was focused, patient, intelligent, funny, open, and hard-working. If Larry was on a project, you knew it would be done right. He wasn't afraid to speak his mind - he was a heart-felt advocate for the many students who were helped by HolyokeWorks. He will be so missed by us all!

My condolences to his family & friends. Please know how much Larry was loved & respected in his professional life. He will always be remembered and his good works live on.

May his memory be a blessing.
