Sylvia was born on August 31, 1926 and passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Sylvia was a resident of Pelham, Massachusetts at the time of passing.

A calling hour will be held on Monday from 4:30 - 5:30 pm at the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. 111 County Highway 106 (Corner of Route 29 & Black Street) Johnstown followed by a funeral service at 5:30 pm with Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams, officiating. Cremation will be performed and final burial will be held in the spring at Barkersville Cemetery. MAR 20. 04:30 PM - 05:30 PM Halgas Funeral Home 111 County Highway 106 Johnstown, NY, US, 12095 Calling Hours begins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Northampton United Methodist Church at Fish House, in care of the funeral home.

You made me feel part of the family when I visited you some 35 years ago. Again we the whole family came to visit again for Terry's wedding. A wonderful lady caring and living. Sylvia you will be missed by all. Sleep well god bless xxxxxx

Such a great lady. She was my favorite babysitter, always pleasant with us. So many wonderful memories of playing at the farm. Also a favorite aunt. She will be greatly missed. Love to all the family.
