Joe will be missed!
He was a long-time friend to my parents and our family. Pretty much to everybody, for that matter...

We are the last generation to have had the great experience, where stopping in for gas was more than just getting gas!!

I am happy that I had the chance to grow up in town, where friends were everywhere you went.

We'd stop to see Tessie at Lapinski's farm (she'd give me an apple), Mr. & Mrs. Howe at Jones's Variety,

My condolences to the Cotton family. Having had worked on 2-West , 3-11 shift , I had the privilege and honor of helping Joe. Joe was a proud man and glowingly always showing pictures of his family and cars, work , etc. Joe was a patriot and may God rest his soul.

Joe Cotton did a lot for his community.He was always helping the kids in town.Always willing to give a helping hand.If you needed help on your car or needed a job Joe was always happy to oblige.I will always remember Joe driving down the road in his Bronco with his sidekick "Thumper" with a big smile.May you rest in Peace Joe.

I am very Sorry for your loss .
When I was a little boy I was Joe's News Paper Boy for the Gas Station and the Fire Station next door !
I have some GRREAT memories of collection Day for the Newspapers , candy from the Fire Men and A FREE COKE FROM MR COTTON ✝♥
