My wife, Jackie, worked for Dottie for many enjoyable years as Assistant Town Clerk. Jackie always spoke of her as a dedicated professional, a good friend and lots of fun.
God Bless Her

I am so sorry for your loss. Dottie was the one I always went to when I was new at the Town Clerk business. She helped me with what to do and, more importantly, how to do it.

I don't have enough loving or kind words for Dottie. From the Suffield Players to SCC where we played and won the Calcutta one year we shared laughter and joy. I would travel back to Suffield every year after I relocated to the Carolinas and every year I would make a point to see Dottie. Dorothy was a wonderful woman and such a great example to her Siblings and her children and Grandchilren. My late husband Andy and his family had wonderful memories of Dorothy and so do I I have a great respect and admiration for Dorothy. I know she will be missed by all. Dottie exemplified the best of Suffield. She was born and raised in Town choosing to make it her lifetime home. She traveled extensively, but always knew where her roots were and worked in so many capacities to make Suffield a better place for everyone. To her own surprise she lived to be a "Town Elder" that we all consulted and emulated. Rest in Peace dear friend and roll model. Many follow in your footsteps!
