Broken hearted for Jim's family. To me..he was the MOST interesting man in the world! Loved our get togethers at ..the Border. We talked about family, guns, politics and yes parachuting. What a life he lived! So much Respect and Admiration. Thank you for being a Mentor and Friend, I'll miss you terribly. My Sincerest condolences to family and friends. Praying for you all. Praying he is "soaring on eagles wings" Isaiah 40:30-31

I worked at Barnes and Noble cafe when I was in college and met Jim, while I worked there. Even though I did not know him well, I admired the family man he was. He was a proud dad, often with his younger children at the store. He spoke of his older children fondly as well. Many years later when I stopped into the Starbucks in Springfield, I remember seeing him and he remembered me.

My condolences to all of his family and loved ones.
