David and family.
I am so very sorry for your loss.
I can't help remark on a life so well lived.
James will be missed as much as he gave to this world; which was a great deal.

So sorry to hear the news of the parachuting accident. There are never appropriate words to convey at a time like this other than my thoughts and prayers are with those who knew and loved him. With sympathy,

What a great guy. Always friendly to everyone and would keep you laughing all the time. He was a great friend and father to his children. You will be in my heart forever. Blue skies and happy memories forever.

Shall sorely miss Jim's quiet & pleasing personality. He's easily to be entreated with and loves to boast that Starbucks coffee is far superior to Dunkins coffee.
We pray for comfort on behalf of his fiancee Martha von Mering, his children and family.

Dear Martha and Jim's family,
I am still in shock over the loss of this one of a kind friend. I came to know and admire Jim over the past few years and will always remember fondly our lunches at On The Border and the Acapulco Punch. He was so proud of his children and enjoyed talking about what they were doing next. It seemed like he had been almost everywhere. He always had an interesting story, a kind or encouraging

Thoughts of deepest sympathy to Jim's loving family & friends alike... He was a one of a kind man with an endless, wild appetite for the most out of life. His adventurous stories, witty sarcasm, and overall kindness & generosity will be truely missed by myself and all of us at On The Border. Thank You Jim, for sharing so much of yourself with us over the years. We will keep your spirit alive within those walls, fear not! Keeping

I am still in shock. I was Jim's first partner on the Pelham Police Department. we were a real team and knew each others thoughts and actions before anything was ever said. Jim was larger than life and the best friend and partner anyone could ever ask for.
My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. Rest in Peace Jim, you are very much loved and missed.
